Te Aitanga Pepeke (2020) - Written with Al Fraser

A piece for taonga puoro and ensemble, written in close collaboration with Al Fraser in 2019 and 2020. Each movement of the piece evokes the idea of a different insect within the context of Te Ao Māori.

An older work recently revised for performance by the NZSO, this piece is a good example of my writing for larger ensembles. You can find the score here.

Crux (2018)

An open score that is broadly indicative of the community-based playing I have been doing in Dunedin. Note that the players represent an intersection of diverse musical styles, including new music, classical, jazz, and post-rock idioms. You can find the score here.

[Re]surfacing is an audio-visual piece created in collaboration with Pōneke-based artist Lisa Munnelly.
